Voting/Poll

Use this campaign type if you want to recipients to vote or you when you wish to poll your recipients. Typically you will use the SMS Broadcast campaign or place an advertisement on the local papers to ask recipients to send in their votes.

SMS Format

<YOUR UNIQUE KEYWORD> <CAMPAIGN KEYWORD> <ANSWER/CHOICE> <optional fields>

Optional fields may be 1 or more of these: Name, NRIC, Email

For example:
1. Setup a Voting campaign with keyword IDOL
2. Use SMS Broadcast to send out:
Vote for your favorite idol: (1) Jack (2) Jill (3) Joe (4) Jane.
Send “FLEXI IDOL <1,2,3 or 4>” to +65 92 778 777.

One Vote per Number/Unique ID
You may restrict 1 vote per incoming number or unique ID (eg.NRIC) and discarding subsequent votes. The multiple incoming SMS will still be reflected in the reports for billing and audit purposes.

Vote Results Auto-Reply
You may also setup FlexiSMS to auto-reply with the current results.

Auto-Grouping
Easily group all received numbers for this campaign into a new or existing Contact group. You can then broadcast SMS to the group in future.

Charts
Voting results will be automatically consolidated and represented in pie chart format.

Billing
Each incoming vote to +65 92 778 777 will be billed at 1 credit/SMS.
Each incoming vote to 77877 will be billed at 1 credit/SMS.
Each outgoing SMS, if vote results auto-reply is enabled, will incur credits as specified in the rates table.
